If all works out, it will go in a golf cart so the kids and I can play around the island
My buddies are trying to get me to rebuild the 750 and put it in a quad.

What motor are you running now? I know there were talks of a B12 but I wasnt sure if it ever happened.

So the spark plug boot is all it was? Glad it wasn't worse! Blown engines suck...

yeah after seeing the wire like that I'm thinking the wire started to come loose and it gradually lost spark until it came completely loose and started to run only on 3 cylinders. if this ends up being the case i'll more then likely have an extra 1127 with carbs for sale unless a deal with thazkat can be worked out.

    pics as promised.

As i was taking the front fender off i noticed the oil cooler resting against the forks. apparently the mounts broke off there tabs

Then I get to unbolting the cross bar and i look down and find this

I did find another 1127 engine for sale with 17k miles on it from a 89 Kat 1100. It's located in Vermont so it will be a haul to get it but the deal could not be passed at $300. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=157419878023

I agree but hey, mine are just there because it is the law. I always look behind me and have been used to not using mirrors to do so!
