Ok. It was hot yesterday. Sitting in traffic on the highway really sucks with a black non-mesh jacket on. I think I am gona invest in a Mesh now cuz DAMN!

Consider perforated leather instead...
I've worn a Joe Rocket perforated leather jacket of one type or another (Sonic, Blaster) at all times and never regretted the protection; in motion it's just a hair warmer than a mesh.

On the other hand, when my gf went down on her bike in her mesh, it didn't hold up too well (the pads shifted & sheared loose of their mounts during the initial impact).

Well , if you're not moving , perforated isn't going to help a whole lot more than non-perfed . But I'm sure you'll notice a BIG difference when you DO start moving again . Hey , remember the pic of the really ...um....large guy on the ZX10 I think it was ? If THAT guy can find full leathers ...
