  • Only thing that I honestly know about the cam swap is in the how-to thread on the subject and phil's thread and maybe a couple mentioned posts here an there. I haven't read about anyone having done before and after dyno runs, and honestly I will not be either considering dyno time isn't cheap at the few places I know nearby to do it. But when I get back into the build there will be more updates on the cams and the efi, just been quite preoccupied lately with life... yea who knew I had one of those

    • Decided to pick up another exhaust while I modify the delkevic on the side. So tired of takin asprin with me for after the ride to work. So have a Scorpion on its way from BB. Kinda the opposite from the look I've wanted, but from what I heard it should sound very good.

      • what difference does a jet kit make?, what would happen if you didnt use one? and where do they actually go? sorry if you think there idiot questions but never touched on this before and my original stock twin can has a hole in it now so i wanna go for a 4 in 1 system.
ride it like you've stolen it!!!

        • Spunky- A jet kit makes a load of difference. An answer to your second question would depend upon what you are going to do to your bike. A jet kit goes in the carbs per manufacturers instructions. If you go 4-1 (especially if it is an aftermarket system) I would suggest a Factory Pro stage 1 jet kit.

Updates- Well before I had gone away for close to a month for AT training, I had started prepping my parts for paint. Due to me being gone I sent them out to get finished. Got them back today and the paint looks very good. Only problem is I did 90% of the prep and body work and gave the shop intructions on what all was left to do before I left. Definitely should've just finished it myself. The only bodywork that was left to do was to fill in a few holes on the right tail fairing where the PO had the old turnsignal. And that didnt get filled in before paint.... I would take it back and have it redone correctly, but it took them 2 months to just paint it so I don't think I'll be stepping foot back in there. The paint did turn out nicely though so I can say that.

          • Well stripped the bike back down, trying to figure out what to do with all my wiring, horn, etc etc so I can fit in the airbox I just got today. Doesn't look like itll happen tonight... Thinking my best bet will be to get a gel battery, build a bracket to hold it behind where it currently resides and build a box where the battery is now to hold most the stuff in there.

                      • Thanks brother, wish it were really anodized though.

Well got the parts put on and went for a ride. Had some slight fitment issues with the tank and cowl. But looks 100% better than when I bought it.
