Began work on an a coil mod today. Read it helps with cold starts and runs the kat a bit smoother. We'll see.

Probably the same kindve mod. When I start ripping into my second wiring harness to upgrade wires this summer it may look quite a bit like yours lol.

Well finished it up, just need to wrap and route the wiring then gonna install the NGK wires an boots.

Well, another wet miserable day. Tested out the coil mod and NGK wires and they do seem to make a noticable improvement on smoothness and cold starts.

Yet another wet day and the kat is so loud in the garage. Time to attempt to muzzle that Delkevic. Using a 4stroke Db Dawg and a bit of JB weld to assist in keeping it in place. After it has a chance to cure Ill post an updated sound clip.

Threw the modified can on when I got back from class this morning. So far very satified with it. Not sure how much of a difference you hear in the videos themselves due to the camera being ancient technology compared to what most people have available lol. However, it definitely shaved several DBs off the over all volume, provided backpressure which the Delkevic lacked immensely, and still provides a nice throaty sound that I like.
