    Yes it is known as the "teapot"! But not to those that it leaves behind in its wake, better known as the GSXF.

      If I remember correctly....for my '89 750..... stamped on the cylinder head....S1....slingshot mill (basically GSXR cams and de-tuned R mill).........S2.....GSXR mill........S3.....Katana in NA/GSXF in Europe........ feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

        The teapot was just a nickname that the pre gsxf got for its shape!
        Nothing to do with performance,for what it is the kat is actually a good bike, its only the people who haven't rode one that hate on it.

            It just means you have the Dot Slingshot head. The same head was used on some GSXR's in conjuction with with the slingshot carbs.
            All in all good heads. I have 2.
