Have you chrome plated the conrods and tranny gears yet? That would be obsessive...

Especially when you could have them DLC (diamond-like-coating) plated instead!

i'd much rather powder coat the gears hot pink, then drop them off at a daycare and let the little girls bedazzle the hell out of them! it makes them sparkle in the light as they spin!

IMHO: Should have put that $$ towards some aftermarket wheels... or maybe I'm just super-imposing my own desire for a set of forged wheels (http://www.forged-wheel.com/Wheels.htm).

                Cheers

yes CP, yes you are. cause along with the con rod, that I actually haven't purchased yet. I may get Crowley's from suzukiray for like $800. Are some big bore 71 or 72mm pistons.

                    Hmmm...$1250.

I just bought these for 82 kat number 2 for the price of $250

Then I'll need rotors for the front...found my last set of brembos off an Aprilia RSVR for $150 (they been replaced at purchase with wave rotors)

Brembo Goldline calipers/masters...last set had for $250 (included front/rear and clutch master)

                    Tires...figure $350 mounted

Machined adapters and spacers to make it all work...another $250 (unless your garage looks like mine...then they're substantially cheaper

                    Hey...that's about $1250
