  • I am nolonger a kat rider

because i crashed out last tuesday
and spent 3 days in the hospital with just road rash
on my right leg and hand a bruised spot on my brain
the good Lord above was watching out for me
because i was running about 85-90 when i went down
i slide about 50 feet then the bike high sided and through me
about 75 -100 feet across a guard rail into the woods

now my wife is saying no more motorcycle
so i will have some parts for sale
i would like to build me a little rail buggy and put the motor on it but
    i may sale it instead

wow, sorry to hear about your accident!

Im glad you are ok for the most part! Where were you riding that you were going that fast? (only place I could think would be the highway/interstate)
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

I am glad that you're ok and weren't seriously injured. It is understandable after a bad crash that you don't want to ride any more and that your wife wants you to stop too.

          Best of luck to you

Glad you were able to walk away from that landing. I wish you the best and maybe, just maybe, one day you may ride again .... Best Wishes to you and what ever you lay your hand to.

Glad you made it! I have had a few friends that have not. My brother has been in a few close calls and has as many broken bones as Kinevil. He still rides. He says the saddle just keeps calling to him.

                          But its not for everyone.

                          Get well Be strong.

Brain bruising is a serious sign that you were being less than safe and that this may well not be a wise undertaking for you... RIP Jason05 (who died from inner-cranial pressure after going down).

Peace be with you whatever you undertake

                            Cheers,

Boooooo....... tell her to get back to ironing your shirts and leave important stuff to the men!
A good wreck will make you really think about whether you are a good match with motorcycles. I know that I thought about it a lot after my first wreck. But riding is in my blood, and it doesn't come back out. Hope you find something else to fill the space. Best of luck.
