Glad you are ok. Hope you will recover quickly.
It's understandable that your wife is worried for you.
Give it some time and maybe she will change her mind.

Glad my wife was so understanding when I went down. Guess she knows I am a responsible driver (these things can happen no matter how careful you are).
Her riding her self may also have something to do with it of course.

Hope you feel better soon! But... if you get in a car wreck will she take your keys away? Think about it.

            Glad your OK...

Have a friend in the same situation, 3 months out of work... don't think he'll be hopping in the saddle for a while, fellow Kat rider too(just not on forums).

good to hear you survived. Not necessarly in any particular order, My advice is this:

                  -Heal up
                  -Sell parts
                  -buy track bike
                  -stay off the streets
                  -ride on the track

The track might be a great compromise. It offers Reduced risk, controlled environment. No cage's.

That is scary stuff, glad you are okay. My wife is giving me a hard time about my bike too, but the last major wreck I had was years before I ever met her. I can't imagine how bad she would freak out now.

Hang in there... I know that hospitals are not much fun.

Best of luck bro, I highsided at half that speed awhile back, I feel you pain. My bike was down for awhile getting parts and getting fixed, and the whole time I considered taking a break or quitting. By the end of a month, I missed riding more then anything. I guess if you quit, you could always try again later, but if you arent responsible, then you dont get another chance sometimes. a few words of advice.... Do What Feels Right.
