        drill the head off pull the bar end off and there should still be enough there to grab with vise grips
        it would not be any fun if it was easy! but does it have to be this much fun!!

          I am going to use my mind powers like in Star Wars to remove mine. Then after about 2 hours, and nothing has moved, I will go at it with regular tools.

              I don't know if it's red loctite; I thought it was blue (type 4202) loctite. Still, it means to break the hold you need to apply a lot of torque onto the screw at the first instant. For me, that simply meant putting a pair of vice-grips on the screwdriver and pushing down while smacking the vice grips... but I did have an impact driver in reserve.

              TIP: Heat will normally loosen permanent loctite temporarily.
