Start button

Does anyone know where I could get a replacment start switch and button? Or do I have to buy the whole right side handle bar unit (start button, hazard switch,kill switch)? My start switch is worn out and doesnt make contact very good anymore. so sometimes thr headlights wont turn on till u stick ur finger in the hole where the start button use to be and move the switch around.

i have no idea how it would be done(never pulled the unit apart), but im pretty positive it can.

i dropped mine and broke my start switch off, and i had to buy the whole piece on my 2002 kat.

You can make your own, I did on my ex500. All you need is a momentary push button switch, then a rocker switch for a kill.

yeah, that's the answer... rig some horrible kludge of a POS "solution" so your bike looks like some idiot from a group home for brain damaged mechanics owned/worked on it.

sheesh, just hit ebay and buy a right side switch pod and replace it...I'm ashamed and embarrassed by this whole thread.
