I hugely respect modern bikes and their tech, but they are too "shrink-wrapped" mechanically for my tastes. I like something I can fully service on my own. A big thing I love is to "modernize" a classic. Thats what I am trying to do with my slingshot 750. Update the suspension, bodywork, and upgrade the engine. But do it in such a way that the core of the classic machine is still intact. Somthing modern, but that I can work on easily."I can accept failure, everyone fails at something.
