I ended up calling around to some locksmiths this morning, a guy came out to my house, made a key from the ignition and it cost me 80bucks. it didnt take the guy along time either.

A leason learned.

The key he cut for me is UGLY, so once the weather shapes up I'll be heading down to the stealership.

You might end up paying big for that priviledge (say another $80)... I always have four keys minimum -- 1 master at home tucked away for cutting spares (never used for anything else), one on the gf's keyriing, plus two on my keyring (one loose for use, the other bundled with all the other keys in case the loose one goes astray). It's quadruple-redudency; if I lose my keys, call the GF and get her to pop by whereever I'm at...
