I'm pretty sure KatanaPR3 has a gsxr swingarm on his bike.Any and all statements by Loudnlow7484 are merely his own opinions, and not necessarily the opinion of Katriders.com. I installed a 5.5" rim from a 95 GSXR 750. It works well, and is not too wide.
That is why I had to order the spacer from you Arsenic. I cut the one that I originally had just a tad too short.
I have a 170 installed with no problems. The rim originally came from ebay with a 180 mounted and that cleared just fine.
This mod took me a few days and quite a bit of patience, but it works well and I cannot feel any change in handling.
you just have to use 93-95 gsxr 750 or 93-98 GSXR 1100 wheels.
oh and best thing about it no swingarm modification necessary
