The only tricky part is opening the headlight assembly. I tried with a heat gun, but by the time I got one section warm enough, the other side was starting to cool down. So I used an oven (industrial, not the one in my kitchen although that would probably work) at 200-220 degrees F for about 10 minutes.

Just take it slow.
