I am new to the thread , just got my first 03 Katana 600 . I have done alot on this bike and and still going with even more plans . However i have a question for anyone who may know ? first let me start by saying i am a pretty good mechanic and can diagnose alot of issues and fix . but i have never owned a kat before and don't know if it is normal ? At under 2000 RPM there is a little chatter , kinda sounds like timing chain . 25,000 miles . it's not the valve clearance IMOP . Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Welcome to KR! It's hard to diagnose if anything is wrong without hearing it first hand. I can tell you that Kat's are a little noisy so it could possibly be normal. If its distinct enough, maybe you can post a video for others to hear?

Welcome, Could be lash, timing chain adjustor or slight ticking, which is normal for kats.
