Well, I got me a 01 kat and ran across this sight by watching a video. Thought I'd drop a line and say Hi. The 01 600 kat has been a blast. Untill today, came off an exit and some out of town pos couldn't make up thier mind what they wanted to do. So I droped two gears and went to go around, and she just stoped running. had to call the Ex wife to come save me off the side of the road. Any idea's?

Have power to the key, and all the lights come on but nothing to the starter..

Is your battery dead? Try charging it/ Jump starting it/ Getting a new battery.

The lights will still come on with a half dead battery. So don't say "well the lights come on"

when it died, I was going down the road and let out on the clutch and it acted like it wasn't getting fire, is there a fuse box on this thing.. i've been looking in the hand book.

the suzuki shop said the safety switches on the clutch and kickstand may have went out. But I crossed them to check like they said. still noda. The kick stand switch I traced back up to the conecter, and crossed the live end. any more suggestions?

So does it crank? Or does it crank and not fire?

the lights com on and the dash lights up.. but nothing to the starter..

no fire to the starter. the dash lights up and it shows it's in neutral.

thanks for all the help guys.. Got it it was a fuse. The fuse box was down under the battery. 6a fuse for the ignition.
