Glad to be here I am in the market for a GSX600 or GSX750.
I've had many Suzuki(s) over the years and really like the size of the Katana.
Currently ride my son's GS500E. Last owned bike was a 1982 GS1100. We did a frame up restoration. It was more GSXR than GS when done.

Welcome! Suggest you go for a pre-98 750. After that 1100 you'll really appreciate the additional torque from the larger Kat. ('98+ Kats actually make less power.) Makes power completely differently from the 600. You may even appreciate an 1100 Kat if you can find one. The Kat will certainly handle a lot better than your old 1100 did, no matter which one you get. (I had a '79 GS1100E a number of years ago. Handled really heavy but OH, the POWER!)
