  • Hi from the Great White North

Believe it or not it has been warm enough to ride in Ontario Canada for the past month! Unfortunately for me I have flexor tendinitis in my left forearm and can only ride for about 15 minutes until my clutch wrist starts burning and i have to stop ! Sucks... I am taking physio right now to see if i can loosen it up. Also adjusting my clutch lever and clutch pull to see if it helps at all. I found this forum while looking for info on how to adjust my clutch. I wonder if any other riders have had tendonitis in their clutch wrist and if they were successful in getting it treated.. guess I will cruise the forums to see. Cheers! Oh, I ride a 2005 750 Kat.

Welcome to a fellow Ontarian. This site is amazing. Like you said, this month has been warm and I've gotten about 700km done so far. Good luck with the physio!

Hmmm. must be an Ontario traffic thing.

I can shift 5 times and not shift (if I didn't want to) for more than an hour in any given direction...

You must live in grid lock...

Bummer about the wrist, are you hanging on to the bars too tight? Not an offensive question, hanging on too tight is bad, if your technique is wrong and you can correct it, you may be able to ride longer. You don't want to have a death grip on the bars and you don't want your elbows locked and all your weight on your wrists either.

          Hope that helps for something!

Riding in general must be rough with tendinitis, hope some physical therapy helps and you can get out and truly enjoy the ride!

Welcome. Send some warm weather a little farther east, it cooled off again here. Enjoy the site.
