Welcome to KR always wear your gear i learn at age 17 that lesson when my throttle got stuck and had no helmet and hit a tree. Well about 22 miles to the hospital and 30 stitches in my face and inside my mouth ( tree branch went through my lip) ill never forget my gear again because i look in a mirror everyday to remind me. Young and Dumb but lesson learned

He gave him the keys, the kid got on, and rocketed out of the driveway, directly into the side of a moving car. He didn't make it even 30 feet! We pieced it back together from ebay parts, since his insurance wouldn't cover it, and the kid refused to pay for anything.
MORAL OF THE STORY: MUST HAVE OPERATOR'S PERMIT TO RIDE MY BIKE! GLAD THE EXPERIENCE WASN'T TOOO PAINFUL.

Experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognize a
mistake when you make it again.
