If she wants lighter than a Katana, go for an SV650.
There are two different versions.
Ask her to try one of those

she decided on a gs500
and i decided to get a 2006 kat 600 instead of the 2000
her problem with the sv650 was the tank, she didnt like it for some odd reason? Anyways, im happy she decided on a bike, now we can start working on gear. Kinda stuck on helmets at the moment, the exo700 is looking pretty good, but i have heard that they have a bit of a whistle and such. this is probabley the wrong forum for gear talk though=P
