***NEWEST PICS ON PAGE 5***
Whats up fellas. I thought it was about time to start contributing to the community and spice things up around here with my GSX600F fighter.
After lurking through numerous forums and googling hundreds of thousands of Streetfighter photos, i think i may have came up with (in my eyes) the perfect garage built Katana streetfighter.
This is my first bike/streetfighter. I've only used and have access to the basic tools. I've had the bike for 1 year. It sat for 4 months, then after being introduced to the whole Fighter look, I've literally worked on it everyday since Aug 4th 2011. My ideas, project builds, and photos should vouch for my obsession. I tried numerous looks/styles and nothing satisfied me until now. fiberglassing my tail section completed the look of my almost completed fighter. Theres a few more things i want to get done like find an easy low mod SSSA conversion, new mirror setup, new levers, rear sets, chain , sprockets and more.
Since our Katanas have the ugliest frames known to man, i figured im going to have to do a damn good job of hiding it behind some sort of slashed up fairing setup. so i did some photoshoping on my cell and came up with a pretty badass design. then i went through numerous headlight setups and finally came up with a Yamaha Raptor hood grill and a Mitsubishi 3000GT projector to complete my front end. I added a homemade LED halo and red Demon eye. For the paint scheme i went with a metallic black on the fairings and a matte black base on the tail. it looked a little plain so i created my very own look, i call it "Triple Black Carbon Camo", which looks insane in person.
The "Gatling gun" like turn signals under the headlight is made from the 2 feet of frame that was chopped off the back of the bike. theres a million more mods here and there that ive done, i can probably type all night, so enjoy the pics and ask any questions if you wanna know. I've photo documented all my projects, i literally have over 2,000 photos of progress. Enjoy!
