Are pre kat bars threaded on the end?

Hey all I went to install my bar end mirrors on my pre kat and they are the push in kind. I notice my bars are threaded on the inside and they look like they were shadily welded in. I'm wondering if all kat bars are like this? Are there any bar end mirror that thread in a s opposed to push in? The mirrorsmare aftermarket ones for a Harley I believe. Grrr....so much shiz

Not to be a pain but could you show me what a pair of the threaded ones looks like on eBay or something? They all look like they push into the bar and I don't want to buy the wrong shiz

Go to ebay. search bar end mirrors, looks like least half of them on the page will work. What may be throwing you off is the little threaded insert to be able to use them on non threaded bars.

Ok, so part that pushes into the non threaded bars is removable? Im tryingmnot to seem overly anal, but I've lost so much $$$ in eBay by being careless.

Yes, most of the time it's removeable. Then you use a bolt that will thread into the kat bar to hold the mirror in place. I would suggest you look at getting a much longer bolt and use a bar end in addition to the mirror.

Bolt into bar end, into mirror, into bar.

This gives you a little protection for the mirror, and you don't loose the vibration reduction you get from the weighted bar ends.

As above! Or you can reverse the handlebars to give yourself a clean end to insert the mirrors you have - but unless the mirrors are weighted you will lose the anti-vibration benefit of bar end weights.

Alright guys so I'm just curious, would these work on my Kat, or would the stick out a bit? It looks like they might stick out a bit as it looks like the part the sleeves slide over is too wide to fit in a bar end etc.
