Don't get phone service for crap down here at the farm, but somehow my laptop picked up the net....
Bout to install a new clutch in the trx250x, wish me luck.
Got home tonight and realized my tail light was out. First thought was a blown fuse, but noticed the license plate light was still on. So I pulled the circuit board out to have a look and found this. After I'm done with this paper I'll try to see where the wires were originally attached. I left enough slack in the harness so I can't see them being just pulled off... Maybe got a little hot and had weak soldering points?
Sometime soon I am going to try to replace the throttle linkage on the efi throttlebodies with the linkage from a set of post carbs, that may give the room needed to move the 2 center bodies closer.
Thanks ya'll, figured out that the post throttle linkage wont swap over. Also there isnt enough space between the butterfly rods so back to the drawing board.
wow...just finished reading this thread...great job cinti and good luck with it all cant wait to see more.
and man.....you make sure you travel with alot of space around you seems like you have a bullseye on ya back...lol
Cinti, just a suggestion, I know you already have the 650 throttle bodies but it may be easier to just sell them on eBay and purchase a gsxr 600 set. I got a set from a 750 and it took me about 20 minutes to get them properly spaced with a few washers between the middle bodies. There is a picture on my build thread.
