That looks nice, but as my better half has pointed out the fonts on the face should stand out more, maybe illuminated from the rear or in another color.

Actually, that was the original plan, before I changed it

The faces are laser-etched plastic. I was planning on getting some low-viscosity model paint or something, and using a syringe to fill the text with paint.

However, I liked the look of just the etched letters, so I ended up just leaving it.
IMO it gives it a nice, simple look that's not overly "busy" at first glance. (I was a little worried about that for the speedometer/odometer/tachometer pod.)

I use ORCAD for both schematic and layout.

Got the 3rd and final pod assembled. And I'm spent for today!

Well I read this thread whe you first started it and I havent really followed it much...

So I just read the entire thread and holy cow are you a nerd! And I am so jealous! The design and concept of these are so beautifully crafted I cant even describe it. Well done sir, well done indeed.

Do you plan on producing these for your fellow board members when you get done? (Im afraid to ask the price, )

Excellent progress.. I read through the whole project.. BTW does anybody know how difficult or easy it is to change the gauge lights to blue leds on a katana 600 gauges.. I did not want to get a custom gauge for its too expensive for me..
has anybody replaced the lights to led? I also found the black dial for the gauges a bit tougher to read...

                              wow

I built an LED tach in high school for my Toyota truck and it was quite a lot of work, what you have done has blown my mind. Electronics has come so far in the last 15 years...

waiting for the price... I want a set too!

You didn't forget to incorporate a clock did you? That is one of my favorite features on my post and probably my wife's too so I can see how long I've been gone and come home.
