Well the back brake is as good as it's gonna get. The issue seems to be that the lever doesn't offer the same ratio. So more custom parts to fix that. Maybe that is the real issue with the Kat seeming to always want to lock up. That the ratio of lever to MC is too high? I have backed out the AF screws another 1/4 turn. Low RPM is very nice and I think I'm seeing better MPG. I'm at 2 turns now and thinking about another 1./4 turn.
I set them up a few years ago while it was running, going rich until it smoked, then lean until the RPM wound up then found the middle. It was better but never seemed right and seemed rich.
