What upgrades do i *need?*

Hi all.

I know alot of you on here do a lot of upgrades from the stock on the katanas, are there any upgrades which you consider essential? i keep reading about the rear shock.

Does this mean i cant/shouldnt take a passenger until i do this?

Also anyone have any idea of the top speed/hp my bike would have, different websites are giving different specs.

Its a Suzuki GSX 750F 1996 Model.

Okay, even to take a pillion i can just have them sit on the bike and go or do i need to make any changes.

90 hp, 130-140ish. Nobody riding on the street should ever risk the public going that fast. Empty road or not.
