  • Stock Exhaust Question

This might be a dumb question, I tried searching but came up with nothing but anyways, I was wondering if my '98 Katana came from the factory with a Yoshi pipe on it? If not then what was the original exhaust that came on it then?

No, it didn't come with a yoshi exhaust on it. It came with the stock exhaust. There is no brand name on it.

What probably happened was the dealer modded it for sale. That's probably what they meant. The dealer down the road 5 years ago, had a shipment of kat's (3 '06 600's and 2 '06 750s), well they took an all black 600 and modded it themselves. They put a carbon yosh pipe and jetted it, and some blacked out plastic parts. It was the "bike of the month". But the bike was never made with an aftermarket exhaust. it was made with a huge, heavy, quiet cannon of an exhaust. lol
Ride like there's no tomorrow!!! You never know when your going to run out of "tomorrows"!!!
