well, that's my current record for a speeding ticket.

fwiw, I was on a divided highway with no cars close to me.

Wish I lived in Germany sometimes; our laws have little to do with safety, it's all about the $$$$.

It happens, the worst part of getting a speeding ticket is the paranoia that follows. You start driving to the exact posted speed limit and are constantly eyeballing your speedo (at least for a month or so).

I don't normally bother with lawyers, but I will this time.

I don't care about the money; it's just price of riding as fast as I want.

Normally I'd have some smartass comment that only makes sense to someone with common sense. But this is too ridiculous to even bother with.

eh, why own a sportbike if you'll never take it over 55?

If you guys go to the track, that's cool.

No tracks around here open to public.

                          How does it go?
Track days are too expensive so I just ride really fast on the street.
Got caught. Now I need a lawyer to avoid jail time/license suspension/etc. (hopefully).
Last I checked, lawyers go for $200-$400/hour.
Fines for 41 over the limit are likely to be $1,000 or more.
Court fees are probably going to run around $200.
                          Track days cost about $200.

                          Hmmmm...

Ride over to areas like "The Dragon"... Watch riders of all types there, see some amazing things. Watch vids of riders from there and such, and peoples responses to them...

108 mph at one point in a 30 mph zone, and we watch and say "wow, amazing..."...

Yet not the same response here or in the other thread...

                            .... Oh well,

You don't own a sportbike, you own a Katana.
