  • GSX600F wiring cdi without harness

    Hey,

Okay so I have a 1989 gsx600f motor I am putting on a go kart, and I bought the cdi for it off of ebay. I also bought the wiring harness. After many tries off attempting to wire up the ignition circuit to get spark I have failed. So I have decided I am going to do my own custom wiring job, so I am only using the CDI and bypassing the whole wiring harness. This will eliminate a lot of useless wire space and wires that are not being used.

How can I do this is the question?

Here is a picture of the CDI:

Find a cheap wiring harness. Find what wires you need and what you don't. Chop out the unneeded wiring while leaving the needed connector ends on the wiring you do need.
