  • Most magnificent SACS engine ever

I lurk around http://oldskoolsuzuki.info a lot to get tips and info for my slingshot.

I just found this over there:

    Incredible. It's 1340cc.

Where can I get one of those? Think it'll make any power or is that just for a trailer queen?

Get you an 1127 and send it to ape. They use an aftermarket head and can bore it out to 1377 I believe. Is it cheap? hell no. Would I run it on the street the way I run my 600? Nope. If I end up going the boring route I'd do 1260 like a few members here have.

1216, not 1260. Yoshimura built that motor. Look at all the Yoshimura stuff on it. Okay, so Yoshimura didn't build that motor, but it has pretty much everything Yoshimura made on it. Where do you get a Yoshimura cylinder block? I want one.

Different build, yet another great example:

That yoshi block is friggin sweet..

Also, look at this crazy sheet:

Some kind of crazy custom built on a gsx platform.
The last pic, the bike with the air cooled gs engine is my fav. Thats like using a 350 small block to run a car from 2100 Love it.

If heat wasn't an issue I would be saving to build a 1371. but I think a 1216 or 1246 is better to be able to drive daily....Or maybe a 1277...

yeah me too, the katana frame is a bit restricting. It makes me want to try and put this 1052 in a gs. (I like the twin shock look).

It could be done with some small cutting and welding. The bolts are only 1/2 covered by the frame. But I don't know how the cutting would effect the frame strength

                            Maybe their is another way....
