I am looking to replace stock grips on a 2006 600 Kat with gel grips and would like to know:
Has anyone tried them and what brands.
    Size
How difficult is it to remove existing stock grips and install new.

I think I saw a thread with info a while back but I can not find it now!
If there is a thread point me in the right direction and I can check it out.
    Thanks

I went back to stock grips. They're dual-compound and actually compare pretty well to the aftermarket ones.

Best method I've found yet to remove grips is to just insert a blow gun and blow some compressed air in there. They loosen right up and slide right off.

I always just cut the old ones off. I'm not trying to save them.

I switched handlebars and saved my OEM grips. I even had 2part epoxy under them. The air compressor with the blowgun is the best trick so far.

I bought some Spider grips off Ebay. It's so hot in down here in TX that I just pried mine right off the other day to replace
