  • Winter/cold weather plans?

I dont know about you guys, but I have a never ending list of things to do to the bike once it gets too cold to ride. These include:

    1) corbin seat
    2) HID upgrade
    3) fork maintence
4)figure out why it runs like its full of diesel fuel when cold started (JUST had it tuned and synced 1 month ago)
    5) paint - Im going to pull a tribute to Jackson Pollock, Ill probably end up hanging the fairings up in the art building with some buckets of paint and brushes and then clearing the crap out of it!

What are YOU guys gonna do to your bikes over the winter?

I have to pull the engine out of my kat, split the cases and swap the transmission. Also want to seal the tank with some Por-15, then repaint it. Once all that is done it becomes my sons problem.

I have to get a new chain and sprockets on my Fazer so the wife can start riding it again next spring, until I can buy her a newer bike next summer/fall.

Hoping to be able to get myself some helibar risers, a full exhaust system, PCIII, adjustable rearsets, and a holeshot shifter for my GSX-R for X-mas. I might also do some small fairing repairs if I can do it without having to repaint it.

Plans?! HA! I've had the same plans for the last couple years, but it hasn't happened.

1- Finish the top end, and get the motor together.
2- Rebuild the forks w/higher rate springs
3- Sort the back shock out
                        4- Finish the body work
                        5- New chain & sprockets
                        6- Paint the front wheel
7- Get plates made to mount up my Brembo's, and some RF900 or B12 rotors
8- Sell off all the parts I have laying around
9- More stuff that is never going to happen......

And if all of this ever DOES get done, I'll have 100 more things I WANT to do by then...

                          paint lower fairings (black)
                          rear fender eliminator

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.'

What is this concept of which you speak?

I finally got of me arse and ordered up on of these:

I hope it gets here quickly. 39 and raining this morning on the way to work.

                            Just because they sound the same doesn't mean they are: there≠their≠they're; to≠too≠two; its≠it's; your≠you're; know≠no; brake≠break

                              Ride it until the state dumps salt all over everything. Then;

-LEDs, lots and lots of LEDs- like- an absurd amount of them
-Powder coat calipers and triple tree
-Continue to agonize over Jet kit and advancer
-Have all rotors cleaned up (maybe try and pick up some waves)
