  • Finally title!

I FINALLY got the title to my kat. I bought it two and a half months ago and I had to track down the previous previous owner. I found him a week after I bought it but he delayed for two months or so, but it's all good now. I have the title in hand and I've filled it out so I can go to the mva tomorrow and get her legal.

Sorry, excited and a half....god knows the girlfriend is tired enough of hearing about the bike.

Funniest part is my impatience finally got the best of me and I took it out for a ride a week ago...and got a ticket at 2AM on back, back, back roads. The cop didn't impound the bike though, which was nice enough of him. I have a 280 dollar ticket but I'm fairly certain they'll knock it down when I go to court with the bike registered and offer volunteer work and such.

I'm sure you learned your lesson -- you didn't buy the bike, you bought the title to the bike. Never hand over the $$ until the other person hands you the signed title.

            Enjoy it now

            Cheers
