  • DREAM project rear caliper mock up

I got the rear caliper mocked up, just hand tight, I didn't actually build it yet. Not only does it look good, but the parts are new also. New piston seals, new brake pad slides, new Carbone Lorraine pads (thanks HS2020). The housing bolts are new S/S bolts froim Pro Bolt (again thanks HS2020). The mounting bolts are new allen bolts. The bleeders are S/S speed bleeder (thanks CP). The covers are from Pro Bolt (HS2020). The torque arm nut is a nylon lock nut. All the powder coating was done by M&R, the caliper, bracket, torque arm. That plastic cover is actual chrome, it's not just chrome paint. Say it with me, BLING!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,

the rear caliper is no longer mocked up, it's fully built ready to role. The pads are in it.

I realized something mocking this up, the allen head mounting bolts, those aren't stainless, they gotta go, stainless will replace them

                              Looks awesome Chris!

Did you put any anti-vibe backing on the pad backer plates? I know it's a show bike, but if it ever gets ridden...

                              Cheers,
