              • Got her started for the first time since winter hit...

Man it feels good to hit that 5K RPM mark again... she really soars when she hits the power curve.

Also went out and bought some GOO-GONE for taking off decals/stickers cause I'm sick of looking at some of them on my bike...

Lubed up the chain some more, and bought some wax for tomorrow

                  • I got my Kat today!!

Wheels and engine on the frame as well as the headlight and windshield assembly. The rest of the bits and body works are off. This baby has been in storage for about 10 years. I'll be going through all the parts on Sunday as best I can to see what's there and what's not.

                        • Worked on the trailer. 70 amp welders sure are a mixed bag. They work on 110VAC and they get the job done but it sure is tough to get a steady arc.

Charged the battery. Filled her with oil.. lubed the chain.. A little fresh gas... Fired her up.
Check the lights.. check the brakes.. check the charging system..14.5V.
A little air in the tires...
Backed her out and went for a "rip".
First time I'd been out on Tana this early in April. I hope it's a long and enjoyable season this year.
