Clip type link versus rivet type.

    i run clips on my old bikes and never a problem yet ... those clips are to go one once and if bent any way use a new one ..only use it once and dont make a mistake putting it on ...and if it makes you feel safer use a little yellow construiction glue on the open end to keep it closed

      I had bad feelings about a clip-on master as well. I work with a guy that has been riding for 40 years and even raced two-strokes for many many years. He ha always used clip-on style master links and he has never had a failure because of the it, but he always carries an extra with him anyways.
