hazard blinkers

just the other day it occurred to me that...


how come there is no hazard blinkers on the pre Kat????

is it possible to add one???

I wasn't aware that posts had hazards! I've got a 99 600.... Unless there's a button somewhere that I'm missing...

no hazard flasher on my '90 either, just the parking light position on the ignition switch.

05 kat 600 has a hazard switch on the handle bars, just flip it and everything was flashing....used them in a big rain storm once,

Hmmm.... I'm guessing that this was added after 99. Where is this switch located on your 05?

well it's been several months since i've had the Kat but I wanna say it was on the left side under the turn signals....or crap the right side under the start button.....not 100% sure....it had them though I used em on more then 1 occasion!

Should be on the right side above the starter button, as in where the turn signal switch is, but on the opposite side.

I added them on my 01. Made a wire that would jump between the two sides with a switch in the middle. Flip the switch and put either side blinker on and both flash. Turn the switch off and all is back to normal. I got to the wires under the third eye faring.

Yes, but it will be after I take the farings back off in the next week or so to do some other mods.
