Kat exhaust vs GSXR??

Is there any difference between a GSX-F and GSX-R exhaust?

Depends, are you talking about exhaust headers or muffler, and which brand, plus which year's Kat & GSXR?

doesn't really matter. Some GSXR exhaust work on a Katana, but they are different.

I know a lot off guys and gals using gixer-systems on their Kats.
(Donor-Gixers all pre liquid-cooled engines, Kats pre-98)
headers are less restrictive,mufflers too, so be aware you'll need to rejet.

meaning i will need to look for oil cooled gix muffler for my 98 kat 750 ? im i right? and does it fit nicely without modification ?
