I'm sure he's at a Busa-squid board somewhere... asking about how to get more power out of it (or how to get repair parts and whining about his broken bones & torn ligaments).

He may be tired of hearing the dont do it posts, or trust us we know posts. I know I know he post the question and he ask opinions, and thats what he got, but damn it think we have ALL the busa knowledge here on this forum. Like I said he will probably be fine if he respects the bike, and doesnt get big headed. I hope he is enjoying his new bike and lurking in the background laughing at all the haters!!!!

No, he isn't lurking in the background. I found him in another forum. He bought a Honda Goldwing two months later. It seems he can't make up his mind what the heck he wants for a bike. Now he wants the most comfortable bike made to do some touring on in 2008. Seems that he isn't enjoying the Busa anymore. Sounds to me like he has too much money and doesn't know what the heck he wants. Also, might have a little obsessive, compulsive disorder as well

Definitely sounds like a 27-year-old someone with more $$ than "the rest of us" in general, and shows that he is repeating his car-obsession with bikes (although aside from the Busa, the rest can usually be had at a reasonable price in that age-group). I also noticed his address has changed several times since he came & went from here (MA, OH, etc).

well... no, about 9 months.

Sounds like he hasn't found his "motorcycle happy place" yet. In reality, his best bet was prolly the Kat 600 he sold. They are very beginner friendly.

My buddy and I went for a nice 500+km ride yesterday... I've got the 750 Kat and he has the Busa.

He swears the bike is a great tourer and I don't think he was any worse than I after the day's ride.

But like others have said the Busa builds speed so fricken fast! Effortless 240km/h in a short pass... I was on the power and the Busa pulled away like I was standing still!

Anyway, the Busa is only for experienced riders... or dead riders.
