milage doesnt matter how far down you take it....it matters how much fuel actually is consumed.

i went 172 miles on 3.4gallons which equates to 172/3.4=50.5mpg

I also run a really high gear ratio - 4krpm=70mph

With mods and 2 up riding, I get 50 MPG. Solo I get 52 and thats with me sitting more upright.

I always sit on my Kat while fueling so she stands straight and tall, and takes all that she can to the bottom flange... The one time I ran her until Reserve, was about 170 mi.
