Group Buy: Pre 98 600 Solo Cowl

I am currently working on a group deal with airtech for a discounted price on the solo seat cowl for the pre-98 Katana 600.

If anybody is serious about buying one please let me know. Once I have the number of cowls required I will be able to negotiate the price. The price of the cowl directly from airtech is $48.41 + shipping, so you know it will be cheaper than that.

Based on my discussions with airtech the order process will be as follows
: One person submits order and makes payment in one lump some. The company will then ship all cowls to any addresses that we would like. In other words if 25 people would like to place an order I could take up a collection via paypal and submit the order. and they will ship to 25 different addresses. I would not be ordering any cowls that have not been paid for. This would probably add a bit of time to the delivery, but from what I can tell, people are ok with waiting for something like this.

I would not start collecting payment until a deal was negotiated and everyone knew what the payment would be. We would also need to have enough orders to make it worth while.

i have one of those also but i blew my engine before getting it to fit just right. havent decided if i am parting out the bike or replacing the engine so its just sits in the shed but of course i do have my new bike so i am just not sure

I think you might be mistaken. I don't believe they do. If they do make one I'm sure we could add it to the group buy, but again, I don't see one listed on their site.

Yep. I am. I had been looking at the GS500 Titan kit the other day and got myself all confused. You'd think the same idea would work on the 750, though.

Basically the deal is we get the discount if we order 20 or more. So we'll see how many serious buyers we can collect for the next couple of weeks and place an order if we have enough people.

I have also recieved a couple of Pm's with orders. I have asked them to post in this thread so that it is easier to track order requests. If there are people that live close by, you can have yours shipped together to further save on cost.

If anyone is in southern Ontario yuo can probably include your order with mine...I will be shipping to a us address to save on shipping costs.

No brooder. At no point did I say I was in. I was merely monitoring the thread. What would I need a pre cowl for when i have an 02? Delete my posts if it's causing that much confusion.
