    The GT looks just like a honda GT huh?
    The dealer up the stree has the cruisers..
    I haven't taken a hard look yet..
    I mean at 125 and 250cc why would I?
    MuZed did a good job on their first "real big bike"
    back in the 90's..
    Bablefish had trouble translating the Dutch..
    Acourding to the Austrailian site:


    The 650 puts out 70 rear wheel HP
    5800 euro! That $7500 US..
    Who know what to subtract for VAT??
    That's pricy..

        Huh , the article I read said to expect the 650 Comet (I believe it was called) to be cheaper than the SV650 .
        I am a fluffy lil cuddly lovable bunny , dammit !

          BIKE (UK) did a comparo between the GT650 and the SV650 and came to the following conclusion: It's not worth the cheaper price.

          Basically they said that the suspension wasn't nearly as good (they speculated that in part because the frame is steel rather than aluminum) and the build quality wasn't as high; it'd have to be another grand cheaper to make it the better value.

          I can't post the whole of the article as it's enroute (with the rest of that magazine & a bunch of others) to Meanstrk in Iraq to help keep him amused.

          Oh, and the VAT for Germany is 17.5% last time I checked.

              Since I am going to be in South Korea within the next few months, I will volunteer myself to go to a dealership and check them out in person. I will make sure to give a full report on my findings. Who knows, maybe where I am going I would be allowed to buy or rent a bike for while I am there.
