    Just wanted to shout out to everyone who helped me recently with suggestions and advice (changed chain and sprockets)...as well as in the past.

    This site and the group who inhabit are a tremendous resource - probably more so than my Clymer manual. From changing headlight bulbs, oil and filter, engine covers, adjusting things, changing choke cables, plugs, fuses, chains & sprockets, etc. to gear recommendations and other things, I truly appreciate.

    I'll continue to do me best to contribute any knowledge and/or advice I have gained.

    i'll have to second that -

    did the brakes and forks this weekend - Cant tell you how valuable it was to have step by step instructions all the way through the forks - that was the first time i've ever done those.

      I have to strongly agree!!!
      I am in the middle of updating a 91 750 I bought with the following;

      98+ wheels and rotors
      stainless brake lines
      new chain and sprockets
      ignition advancer
      factory pro jetting
      stainless full exhaust
      98+ oil pan
      hayabusa shock
      new plugs
      preloaded front with new fork oil
      new brake pads
      new starter motor
      some miscelaneous repainting of various parts

      should be done this saturday

      could not have done it without the help of this forum
