  • Request: Photo of centrestand

    Hi guys,

When someone has a spare moment near their bike I'd really appreciate it if you could take a photo of where the centrestand bolts up.

Mine's missing, just assumed they didn't come with one but It's been pointed out there should be one there.

    Cheers

There are brackets under the bike on a cross member, you can't miss them. If you have a 600, the center stand was an option. Standard on the 750 & 1100.

yeah I can see them, just in front of the centre spring.

Just wanted some pictures so I don't buy it with parts missing if I do end up getting one. Should've specified, I have an 1100.

Looks like I need the stand and springs only. Unless there's a beam that goes through the centre or something.

Make sure ALL of the assembly is included, nuts, bolts and springs.

This is the reason I was thinking of buying without the springs or bolts:

            Cheapest one with all accessories:

I figured the springs would be worn / destroyed by now anyway and I could replace them with something generic. Have a bolt supplier around the corner from work that I can replace everything with.

Thanks Shpielers, I think I've got everything covered now but it'd help to see it. No rush though.

Sounds great Jim, did you not need it or have a spare or something?

Maybe that's why mines been removed. There's a 4 into 1 on it at the moment can't remember who it's made by. I'll have to take a better look and see if there is clearance.

You need to install a stand stop like the OEM has.

Wasn't able to get the pic today, my apologies. The 1100 is kept at my parents place (stupid apartment living...) but I will be there tomorrow to help my mom with something. Want me to measure things so you can get a better idea of clearance?

                            Cheers
