I would pay 1000 moneys to stop if that was the only thing that the bike needs to be safe and good to go! FYI I paid 2900 for my 92 1100f but it was good the way it was with lots of xtras on it already. and with that said you would only have 1400 into yours.

The G motor had balance shafts and more tq than the katana.

G = 98 hp @ 7500 rpm
99 Nm 73 ft-lb @ 4750 rpm

F = 136 hp 99.1 kW @ 10000 rpm (rear tire 130.7 hp @ 10000 rpm)
112 Nm @ 7000 rpm

it may have more torque at a lower rpm, but the F has more peak torque.
It is a nice bike, but more of a "tourer" than a sport tourer.

The "problem" with those sites is they don't offer the cross reference feature that Ron Ayers offers and Ron Ayers uses the Suzi part number unlike Bike Bandit.

I think the GS1100G is a great bike, I had an opportunity test drive one many years ago and it was a great ride. I think it may be a rarer bike compared to the F model. I haven't seen one on the road in a long time.
