  • LISA & BLACK FALCON'S FIRST RIDE ON THE STREET...

Actually, it was BlackFalcon's first time on a bike, period!

We picked up a '90 Ninja250 a couple of weeks ago for her to practice on for a while. We figured that we'll get the bike she really wants (M90) in a few months and the Ninja gets handed down to BF, but in the meantime both can use it to learn on. Lot's of parking lot and "in front of the house" time. The bike came with a new set of fairings, in the box. I'll put them on in a few weeks.

Saturday was the first time Lisa rode outside of MSF and the first time BF ever rode a bike. I think the both of them did outstanding despite me not letting them get out of first gear.

Saturday was the parking lot of a closed Von's supermarket. Sunday was on our street. Very quiet residential. Not to say I was a bit nervous by all of this, but, I sound like a total geek on the video. If I can post the long vid of Lisa, listening to me explain "bliping" the throttle when downshifting is a riot. All and all a very good weekend. Really proud of those two.

Me explaining how to adjust the Flux Capacitor.

Lisa and BF (the strong, silent biker type)

I think we need to invest in a few KatRiders stickers.

    "Contemplating"

Right after his first ride. It may be hard to see in this pic but I have never seen a bigger grin on anyone's face, anywhere!!!

man that's awesome. I can imagine BF's grin after his first ride, I'll never forget what that first ride felt like even though it was just down the street. I was absolutely blown away, couldn't stop thinking about it. Hey tdrcomm, you look just like ronnie coleman!

Man, that's AWESOME! I'll bet Lisa and BF couldn't stop grinning... And, I'll bet it's a fine feeling getting the family involved in motorcycling. I can see a tdrcomm and family cross country Iron Butt coming SOON!
