Originally posted by Rican KatgrlThe way that I look at it is, gear is cheaper than hospital bills and skin grafts. Yes, I think people are idiots for not wearing proper gear. Whether you ride a harley or sport bike. If you have money to go buy a bike then be smart and buy the gear. Whether its 50 degrees or a 100 degress its ATGATT for me.... But that is just my opinion.

Fortunately I was just leaving a stop sign a couple of blocks from my house so I wasn't going fast, maybe 40, and I was able to limp her home.
12500 and some odd miles out of that tire though. There are two types of riders: Those that have been down, and Those that will go down.
I belong to the first.

I had a nail in my tire the other day and noticed at the gas station coming back home. It was 50 miles from my job to home on Sunday evening. No one on New Jersey Turnpike would fix it for me so I had to stop at each service area to check pressure of my back tire, it was so annoying but I had to make sure to be cautions on the road. Usually it takes me 45-1 to get home that day it took me 2 hours. This Friday I finally replaced the tires. I'm glad it was on my rear tire not the front. Glad you made it OK. Not a pleasant feeling to have flat especially on the bike.2002 Suzuki GSX-750F
