OK here is the beginning of my 600 rebuild from ground up.

As I get more progress I will give more pics.
I also wanted to bring to light a process of blasting that removes paint from plastic but not damage it. THe process is called spongjet blasting http://www.spongejet.com/
It is an amazing process it leaves that plastic as smooth as a new born baby's bottom.
I guess I should probably also tell you about the mods that I will be accomplishing during this process and what I did over the last couple of years. Here is a list, in no perticular order
Vance and Hines SS2 -R full exhaust
K&N pod filters
Dynojet jet kit ( I know to reuse the stock neddle jets)
Headgasket
Cylinder to case gasket
Various new oil seals
New blue style headlight, I personaly like the ones by APC
Last year installed new front and rear pads and rotors
Kevlar clutch disks
New clutch, throttle, speedo cable
New clutch and brake lever
Factory Pro ignition advancer
Shift improver kit
LED replacement bulb for Rear taillight
4 new Directionals(graphite type)
Rewire many areas to fix old crap wiring that was damaged
Installed a stock rear fender as is required by law and I kind of rather like the original look
New plug wires
New spark plugs ( dont remember the name as was a job from last year)
Repaint body complete bike except front forks, brake calipers, wheels.
Rebuild front and rear calipers
Rebuild front forks with after market upgraded parts from Dennis Kirk
New Foot pets for front and rear passenger
Reupholster the seats
New Stainless steel fastners for plastic
New ignition switch
New Starter solenoid
New Battery
Put on new Metzler Z6's last year
Clean up front and rear wheels
Clean chain as sprockets and chain where new last couple of years
Degrease engine
Valve adjust
Repair many of the damaged fairing pieces that I fixed before but was unhappy with the finished product, one of the reasons for repainting body again.
New fuel line, filter
New Overflow lines and vaccum line
OIl change with filter
New Grips
New Windscreen
New Mirrors
New Goodridge front and rear stainless steel brake lines
THat is all I can think of for now hehehe
