the angle from the bellypan to the rear sub-frame lines up perfectly.
Bravo Joe! If it was mine, I would lose the emblems and paint it all silver with some subtle graphics. If there was a way to incorperate a Single Sided swingarm.....

Thanks all. Been working pretty hard on it these last few weeks. The rearsets are done and the exhaust has been reworked to accommodate the rearsets. Also did a rear brake service. Nearly done for this winter. Not doing paint till next winter. Been wrapped up in fabbing the undertail enclosure and helping my little bro with his project. I'll put up some new pics when I get everything done including some close up shots of the windscreen. Most likely in the next few weeks.

All the changes you made are great!
The blunt nose lets it down in my opinion though.. Great job on the rear end!

I have to ask, what was the advantage to swapping to SV650 calipers?

Apparently blunt noses are in this year. At least Honda thinks so.

                        OK I'll say it then..
The 98+ fairing lets it down!

                        I really like the pipe..
But really, what about the calipers?

Ya I hear what you're saying. I hate what Honda did to the big CBR. So disappointing. The blunt nose just looks wrong...much like the '98+. Waiting to see what Waltari comes out with before I mess with the front end too much. Really looking forward to seeing what he does. Talented mofo that one. In fact I studied the Frankenkat alot before I got started down this road.

The SV650 brakes were mainly for the purpose of replacing my busted master cylinder. I figured as long as I was getting a new master cylinder I'd get one with a remote reservoir because I prefer that look. Read in a thread here somewhere that the calipers from the '98+ were compatible with the master cylinder from the SV650 so I went to fleabay. Found a good price on a full system (lines, slave cylinder, calipers, master cylinder and reservoir) so I got it and just swapped the system straight across.
