Leather pant and winter

How warm is the leather pants in winter?
I have a textile pants with inner linear that comes with it, I tried it in low 30 and it was warm enough. I want to get a leather pant to match the jacket, and to use in the track, but I am afraid that it won't be warm enough in low temp.

Just wear thermals underneath and they are fine. Leather blocks the wind better than anything else.

I've been doing fine with my A-star "Bat" pants on ~30° commutes of about an hour. It's getting chilly toward the end, but bearable. Like meanstreak said, just wear thermals and you will be fine.

I was surprised that Leather was "cooler" than
jeans..

I just got some and they work great!

I've got perforated speedmaster pants and on a 45 minute commute a pair of thin track pants or even pajama bottoms are enough to keep warm.

For commuting I actually use my JR Pheonix mesh over jeans and am fine down to 30 degrees or so that way!

I'm good with long johns under my leathers down to around 40-ish . Below that , I just throw on the snow pants over top . Leather DOES block the wind quite well , but doesn't insulate all the great . So the extra windbreaker layer does WONDERS on top of it .

My JR phoenix gear w/ thermals and jeans works great for me, even out on the highway in cold temps.

I'd imagine you might want to look for snowmobiling leather pants (or outright snow mobiling pants) if it's really cold.
